Post-Graduate Course on Doctor-Patient Relations (M.SFM)
Since the early 2000s up to 2016, LEAD has annually been contributing to the Post-Graduate Course on Doctor-Patient Relations, coordinated by Prof.Dr. C. Lionis of the Department of Social and Family Medicine of the University of Crete in Heraklion, Greece. In this course, young medical doctors were trained in social medicine and ethnomedicine as part of their curriculum, focused on their practical training in community service throughout Crete.
Public Health Management (M.PHM)
Similarly, a yearly contribution is provided by LEAD staff to the Post-Graduate Master Course on Public Health Management (M.PHM) at the Department of Public Health Management of the University of Crete, coordinated by the Director of Studies Prof.Dr. A. Philalithis. In addition, Prof.Dr. L.J. Slikkerveer has also been invited to take examinations of the candidates of the M.PHM course on the modules concerned as External Examinator of the Department.
